Holly moved from Evergreen, Colorado to Surprise, Arizona.  During his years in Colorado, Holly was active with the Evergreen Art Association.  She participated in numerous shows, displaying her watercolors.  Holly studied art with Laura Mehmert and later with Nancy Davis. Her paintings are displayed throughout the United States; in Florida, Connecticut, New Mexico and Oklahoma.  As a water color artist, her style is considered to be a colorist.  As her painting has developed, Holly is painting oils, acrylics and mixed media presently.  Many of her paintings have an abstract feel to them; others are representations.

Holly's background as a teacher and administrator has led her to donate art to Evergreen Outreach fundraisers as well as to the Evergreen Arts Council fundraiser.  Currently, Holly has donated art to the Grand Ladies Golf Association for the benefit of Eve's Place, a shelter for battered men and women.  

Holly has served as the Education Chair for Sun City Grand Art Club 2012-201, and Vice President in 2014 and 2025.  She has contributed to various shows and displays of her art in that vaue.
